Welcome back to the early winter edition of the newsletter. We
continue our quest to add value to the woodturning community. This
newsletter links to our website where you will find the full text with
images for each article below. We are sure that you will be interested
in several of these features. Feel free to forward this on to anyone who
you think might be interested in our site.
* NEW PIECES--NEW PHOTOS
We've added 9 new pieces on
display. Ben has some wonderful hollow forms, Jim has a pair of
exquisite shell-like forms and Will is displaying a box with a
distinctive Oriental flavor. This is a huge spectrum of designs that we
are proud to share with you.

*FREE DRAWING FOR LATEST WORK BY JIM CHRISTIANSEN
Our first Critique Central Project is coming to a conclusion. This is a
section of our website where we posted images of a woodturning and
invite you to put on your art critic hat and let us know what you think.
Jim has created a new piece taking into account the critiques we
received. We encourage you to stop by and see both pieces. We will be
holding a random drawing of those who participate and we will give away
this new piece. To be entered in the drawing for the second version of
the Arts and Crafts Covered Vessel you must critique the second piece
(hopefully taking into consideration the first piece and Jim's design
goals) and you must also indicate that you would like to own this piece.
We will draw a name on Dec. 20th. Be sure to include your email address
so we can contact you if you win.
